The Chemnitz Institute ensures the care of hospitals in Chemnitz and Leipzig and is involved in projects of clinical transfusion medicine, blood stem cell production and lymphocyte membranes for CAR-T cells.

You take over as a senior physician or senior physician. Head of Department responsible for donor protection, drug safety and hygiene

You lead the medical and non-medical employees in the fields of production and blood collection, including plasma, thrombocyte and leukopherosis, as well as the production of allogenic and autologous stem cells

You control the work of the six mobile blood donation teams at the site and ensure high supply quality

You take over medical care tasks as a qualified person in accordance with § 15 and as a manager in the production according to § 14

You represent the Head of the Institute and take responsibility for the management of the Institute.

You cooperate closely with other blood donation services departments and with external medical and scientific partners

Ideally, you are already a specialist in transfusion medicine, for anesthesiology or Internal medicine and/or bring the willingness to acquire the specialist in transfusion medicine during your activity as a department manager, in order then to perform the function as a senior physician/berian

You have leadership experience, organizational ability and strong team skills

You have a class B driving licence
