As a system administrator (m/w/d), you are the main contact partner (m/w/d) and the first contact point for all IT requests from our employees and external partners. They ensure that all concerns are resolved quickly and efficiently. You analyze, classify and edit incoming requests in the ticket system by phone and by remote access. No problem remains unresolved! You bring enquiries and fault messages to the right contacts (m/w/d) within our international IT team and ensure a smooth flow of information They coordinate and communicate with external service providers, e.g. for exciting rollouts and system changes, and make sure everything goes according to plan You maintain the hardware in our data center and in the office in Bochum Whether installing devices or exchanging server components – you have everything under control They support the administration of Windows roles and ensure that our server landscape always runs optimally

You have completed IT vocational training such as specialist in system integration (m/w/d) Ideally you bring multi-year professional experience with (IT/service area) An ITIL Foundation certification would be advantageous You have basic knowledge in: network technology, backup technologies for virtualized environments, administration of storage systems (NAS / SAN) You are already familiar with the administration of Windows roles (Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, File and Print Services and Remote Desktop Farm) First experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V will also bring you They have joy in communication and a pronounced service mentality Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to challenges characterize you You are able to manage multiple, simultaneous tasks and set priorities
