Tasks

They drive and operate trucks as well as transport vehicles of different types and carry out transports both within the Botanical Garden and off-farm. In addition, you support maintenance and repair work on vehicles, machines and equipment in the workshop area. Another focus of your activity is the implementation of gardening care in the outdoor area, including the care of paths, beds, garden furniture and signs.

These include:

• Transportation with truck and vans
• use industrial trucks, motor mowers, trucks, wheel loaders and forklift trucks
• horticultural care
• Way care
• support for all work in the central area
• Pre- and post-processing events (reconstruction and dismantling)

Adjustment requirement

• valid driving licence of classes BE, C and T

Required expertise and personal skills

Forklift badge desirable

• Experience in guiding transport vehicles, land or construction machines
• knowledge of maintenance and maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
• Willingness to take over horticultural work in the open country
