The BBR is a federal authority in the department of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB). The main tasks are the implementation of construction measures by the Federal Government, in particular for the constitutional bodies and for the ministries in Berlin, Bonn and abroad as well as for the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin. The department BS III “Defense, Bundeswehr” in the department “Federal Ministries, Security” focuses on the project management of construction projects and simple construction measures as well as construction maintenance measures of the state and alliance defense on various properties of the Bundeswehr including the Bundeswehr Hospital in Berlin. Within the department, the BS III 3 department will present the topics of civil engineering and development on the properties of General-Steinhoff-Kaserne and Tegel Nord.
