As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. With our network, we not only make the country an innovative power turntable in the heart of Europe, but also make the energy system of the future significant. The area of plant operation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 380- and 220-kilovolt network for substations and free lines in the area. In addition, it carries out the quality control for commissioned construction measures in the network. The aim of the plant operation is a fault-free and accident-free operation with high plant availability. The support area extends across Baden-Württemberg and along our HGÜ building projects (Ultranet, SuedLink etc.).

You assume the plant responsibility for our DC systems and their infrastructure according to VDE 0105-100. For major projects such as SuedLink or STATCOM, you can effectively support plant operation and ensure the quality of implementation. You include external partners as well as the construction site personnel safely and carefully on our systems. Maintenance measures run by yourself and control the professional execution by service providers. As a competent contact person, you are regularly on site on the construction sites and facilities throughout the entire project area.

Master or technician of electrical engineering (w/m/d) Multiannual professional experience in the field of high or high voltage Ideally knowledge of converter technology, operation and maintenance of power grids Class B driving licence, openness to standby and travel activities
