Tech Lead SAP

As SAP Tech Lead, you are responsible for the technical and technological development of the SAP system landscape based on S/4HANA and are a company-wide contact person for SAP topics. You are responsible for the professional management of the SAP team in IT, in close cooperation with the People Lead, promote the further development of employees and ensure efficient cooperation between departments, SAP in-house consultants, SAP developers and external service providers. You take the advice of the departments in optimizing existing and introducing new functionalities, as well as coordination and communication between different technical and non-technical stakeholders. In addition, you support IT management in strategic decisions and coordinate external partners and service providers for application and basic operation. You are responsible for the SAP solutions in terms of design, architecture and implementation close to the SAP standard and ensure that You are technologically sustainable and are developed and operated according to uniform standards. You also evaluiate new technologies and tools to continuously improve the tech stack, e.g. AI. This sets technical guidelines for the team, which relate, for example, to code quality, test and wartability, as well as to the monitoring of technical debts and the introduction of refactorings and modernizations.

Successfully completed studies in the field of (economic) informatics, business management or a comparable qualification with IT background and SAP expertise. At least five years of leadership experience with strong leadership qualities as well as knowledge in team development and the ability to guide in change processes. Knowledge in change management is desirable. Deep knowledge of at least two of the following SAP modules: MM, SD, EWM, FI, CO. Knowledge of SAP Success Factors or Datasphere/SAC are advantageous. Very good German knowledge (at least C1) in word and writing. Strategic and analytical thinking and working methods, high service and service orientation, targeted communication strength and solution orientation.
