Within the framework of the Bioeconomy model region in the Rhine region, MerLIn is funded with a total of €11 million to create forward-looking jobs and thus contribute to an economically, ecologically and socially sustainable transformation in the bioeconomy model region. MerLIn aims to become a leading material science incubator in Europe. MerLIn is linked to the Bio4MatPro Competence Center and the RWTH Excellence Start-Up Center (ESC) to recruit from these emerging and external founding teams. These founding teams are supported in MerLIn by the early integration of VC investors in their project selection in their ideas to develop innovative products with high value added. Your duties For the start-up incubator “MerLIn” you are responsible for the complete project controlling and personnel management. This includes, in particular, the following activities: Self-administration of third-party accounts and projects (e.g. mid-call calls and evidence of use). Processing of input invoices. Monitoring and control of financial transactions via digital platforms (e.g. SAP). Reliable management of organizational tasks, including the processing of personnel matters and recruitment contracts for student and scientific employees. Support in the administrative preparation and settlement of missions. Implementation of orders according to procurement guidelines. Support in organizing meetings, workshops and other events. Processing of enquiries (telephone/email) and appointment coordination. File management, data storage and archiving.

Your profile You shall provide the following conditions: Complete university studies (Bachelor or comparable) with an economic focus or a completed commercial training with additional advance training (e.g. further training on the state-tested farmer) ideally with professional experience. High level of self-employment, good understanding and strong understanding of numbers. Safe handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook. Very good communication skills in German ( oral and written); English knowledge of advantage. Cross-sectional mode of operation, high flexibility and readiness for learning and performance. Supplier: Chair of Biotechnology The employment is in the employment relationship. The place shall be occupied at the next possible time and shall be terminated until 20.08.2028. The deadline is governed by § 14 para. 1 Part-time and temporary legislation (TzBfG). It is a full-time job. The grouping depends on the TV-L.
