Plant and Process Safety Specialist*

Independent development and development of an effective management system for plant and process safety at the site taking into account the requirements of the fault case regulation and other relevant regulations Implementation of a comprehensive inventory of safety-related plants and processes and assessment of the risk potential for prioritisation and derivation of appropriate measures Implementation and moderation of HAZOP analyses for systematic risk identification and risk assessment Development, updating and expert assessment of safety concepts, in particular in fire and explosion protection Creation, maintenance and regular review of legally safe plant-related security documentation, test concepts and explosion protection documents derivation, prioritization and follow-up of technical and organisational protective measures in close cooperation with the implementing departments Planning, coordination and monitoring of audits, inspections and audits as well as new, remodeling and maintenance projects Analysis of plant and process-related disruptions, deviations and safety-related events and follow-up of effective measures Consultation and awareness of technical areas of plant and process risks, fire and explosion protection and technical emergency behaviour Cooperation with factory management, production, maintenance, engineering, authorities and external experts

Complete technical training with further training as a master/technist or completed technical studies, e.g. in safety technology, process engineering, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering, in each case supplemented by further training (e.g. MSR technology) or relevant professional experience in plant and process safety or comparable areas Multiannual professional experience in plant or process safety, ideally in the production or process environment or in a faulty operation Knowledge of fire and explosion protection and the creation and evaluation of explosion protection documents Good knowledge of relevant regulations, in particular case of malfunction, BetrSichV, GefStoffV and ATEX Finded practical experience in performing or moderating HAZOP analyses Experience in carrying out risk analyses and technical safety assessments Structured, self-sponsored operation and enforcement strength and communication skills Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (min. C1) and good knowledge of English (min. B2)
