(Senior) IT Service Manager – WAN & Decentralized Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Within our special IT department, you can organize and secure the operational operation of our diversified IT service portfolio, in particular the management system for our WAN. Design and control the entire IT service life cycle – from commissioning to ongoing operation to the continuous development of the underlying systems and infrastructure. You are responsible for complex further developments by modern IT project management methods, coordinate internal stakeholders and external service providers, such as software providers, and ensure a sustainably high service quality and compliance with agreed service levels. In your role, you control operational processes as well as the scheduling, budgeting and resource planning, interact with contract design and organize the internal service delivery in cooperation with administrators, architects and other stakeholders. You organize the internal performance together with the competent administrators, architects and other stakeholders and see yourself as part of your service team in the joint responsibility for operating operations.

You bring a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable discipline and have multi-year professional practice in IT Service Management (KRITIS) – as far as possible in the energy industry – with sound ITIL knowledge, at best ITIL 4. Above all, you have deep, practical know-how in the area of WAN & decentralized IT infrastructure, are happy to work independently into new topics and do not shy away from the high specificity of the IT systems developed specifically for TransnetBW. You are orally and in writing secure for communication and negotiation in German and English, fit in MS Office, SAP, Power and generally IT or Software-affin. Personally, you are characterized by your analytical skills, a solution-oriented and team-oriented way of working and hand-on mentality.
