Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Participation in the design and implementation of automation solutions for welding and material handling processes Creation and optimization of robot programming (online/ offline) Conducting Cause Analysis for Welding Errors and Implementation of Corrective Measures Conducting process tests and sample welding Design and adaptation of required devices and procurement and inventory coordination Support in the introduction of new models through weldability studies and tooling Initiation of cost reduction initiatives in terms of welding additives, cycle times and rejects

Successfully completed vocational training in metalworking profession / DVS welder examination

Multiannual professional experience in metalworking industry Knowledge of welding methods MAG/ WIG/ MIG preferably related to construction steels and fine-grain steels Experience with automated robot welding Knowledge of robot programming (online/offline) High quality awareness and strong communication and team skills Good knowledge of the MS Office package Commitment and internal drive for continuous improvement Ready for further training in welding Basic readiness to travel
