Technical Superintendent Shipping (m/f/d)

As Superintendent (m/w/d) you ensure the technical and nautical readiness of the ships assigned to you. You plan and coordinate docking and instant settlements in close coordination with the ships, answer the budget and visit “your” ships regularly. You will create and monitor the budgets for the ships you are looking for. You are responsible for compliance with regulations and safety standards and define technical standards and maintenance targets. You regularly carry out inspections on the ships, for which you visit the world-wide ships and also take a long journey. You plan and coordinate the yard times and accompanied them on site. You control maintenance and repairs, identify optimization potentials and implement improvement measures. You work closely with our purchasing & logistics and other internal areas. You document all measures and services carried out by themselves and by third parties.

You have a training in the maritime/technical field or have a comparable training with technical deepening e.g. ship engineer or Nautian officer with technical experience. You also have a good commercial understanding. Ideally, you already have experience with gas anchors as well as experience in practical ship operations. Knowledge of project management e.g. docking and also KPI management are extremely advantageous for this position. You are an organizational institution, like to take responsibility and have the pleasure of serving “your” ships in close coordination with the ships and internal / external stakeholders.
