M&A Specialist (m/f/d)

You systematically identify and evaluate potential M&A targets based on strategic inputs and analyze gaps in the product and technology portfolio. You drive deep technology analyses together with experts to validate the innovative power and strategic fit of potential targets. You develop sound business cases and corporate assessments and analyze the essential purchasing price drivers and synergy potentials. You will create precise decision templates for management in which you compose strategic logic, competitive environment and integration planning. You control the project management for M&A initiatives and coordinate the cross-functional contributions from R&D, Finance and Sales during due diligence and work closely with the central corporate M&A department. You accompany the post-Merger integration and ensure the realization of the defined business plan objectives.

You have a successfully completed degree in economics or engineering, economic engineering or a comparable discipline. You have several years of professional experience in the M&A or M&A consulting, ideally in the technology or industry sector. You pass complex technological product portfolios and R&D landscapes methodically and evaluate their strategic value. You’re the first to routin precise financial models as well as business cases and use classic corporate assessment methods safely. You bring together interdisciplinary thematic contributions efficiently as part of a due diligence and tax them in a targeted manner. You are convinced by a high level of persuasion, very good knowledge of German and English as well as the ability to prepare complex facts in clear management presentations.
