Electrical Engineering Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Based on the EMSR technique of the fully-electric melting plant, from energy supply via transformers and power generators to the process control system of the melt Ensuring the technical availability and further development of the control, control and process control technology of the tub and its secondary systems Electrical engineering planning and monitoring of tub repairs, rebuildings, modernizations and investment projects Support and further development of the automation and control technology of production facilities at the site Analysis and elimination of complex disruptions to PLC, HMI, drive and process control systems and maintenance personnel support Planning and commissioning of new plants and coordination of external electrical, automation and service companies Maintenance of plant, electrical and software documentation as well as backup of programme levels and technical plant knowledge Development of spare parts, obsolescence and migration strategies for critical electrical and automation components Acquisition of the function as a responsible electrical expert (VEFK) after written approval for the specified responsibility Ensuring appropriate electrotechnical work, testing, release and documentation procedures as well as consulting the Head of Technical Services and the Plant Management

Successfully completed studies of electrical engineering, preferably focusing on automation, energy or process control, or comparable qualification Multiannual experience with electrotechnical and automation systems in an industrial production environment Good PLC knowledge, preferably with Siemens controls, as well as knowledge in process control systems, e.g. iFIX 5.x Ideally experience with transformers, actuators and electrical systems up to 1 kV Experience in planning, project planning, commissioning and project management Knowledge of the current electrotechnic regulations, directives and standards, as well as professional and personal suitability to take over the VEFK function
