Curative Education Nurse / Educator as Individual Case Assistance School Accompaniment - Hohenstein-Ernstthal (m/f/d)

The assistance service of the Diakonie West Saxony supports children and young people with special educational needs or physical, mental or mental impairment. Our school assistants support students at general and vocational schools as well as funding schools to achieve the highest possible educational objectives. They accompany in the course of individual case assistance and promote everyday practical and social skills.

For the Sachsenring-Oberschule in Hohenstein-Ernstthal we are looking for a Pädagogische Fachkraft (Heilerziehungspfleger | Lerner (m/w/d)) as a single case aid in parttime (24 h/week).

The body shall be suspended until the end of the school year 2027 as part of the granting of individual aid. An extension may take place depending on the approval of the individual case aid.

Your tasks:

You accompany a child with increased support needs reliably and individually through the school day. Here you are a fixed reference person and give orientation, security and structure.

Your tasks include:

• Support in Regulation of emotions and impulses with targeted Deescalation and Crise Intervention / Crisis Management
• individual (pedagogical) support within the framework of individual approval and the development objectives defined therein
• Involvement in the creation of aid plans in cooperation with caregivers, educational professionals and school
• Observation, documentation and presentation of development processes and the implementation of appropriate strategies to achieve the agreed objectives

• Experience in dealing with challenging situations as well as the ability to act in different situations restful and insensitive
• Experience in dealing with traumatic behaviour and crisis and escalation situations
• Sensitivity,Reliability and clear, -estimating and child-friendly communication
• passenger car license and own car as well as flexibility in use and willingness to work in representation situations**
