Lecturers on a fee basis (m/f/d)

We are one of the most successful initiatives against youth unemployment in Germany. Since 2008 we have been supporting young adults with difficult starting conditions with our three programs PLAN A, JOBLINGE and basecamp on their way to training and profession.

To date, we have accompanied more than 37,000 young people in our programmes. In the JOBLINGE program, 80 percent of the participants, with our support, create a leap into working life – often after years of unemployment and unperspectiveness.

At more than 30 locations across Germany, nearly 300 colleagues work together with more than 2,700 volunteer mentors and over 4,000 partner companies across Germany to open new perspectives for young people. For our partner companies, we are at the same time an important building block for skilled workers.

Then come to JOBLINGE. For our team at the JOBLINGE gAG Südwest at Stuttgart, we are now looking for an lecturerin on a fee basis for our professional language qualification.

What makes your working day off at JOBLINGE?

Language is the key – especially for young people with escape experience or migration background, who want to gain a professional foothold in Germany. As part of our programme you support these young people in their linguistic and professional development:

You carry out professional language training in small groups (about 12 UE/week) – practical and activating.

You help young adults build an active vocabulary that prepares them for training and work.

You tailor your teaching units to the everyday working life and to the language requirements of the participants.

You work closely with our educational professionals.

You also accompany the participants in their personal development – with patience, clarity and empathy.

You develop new workshop formats and adapt existing content to changes and needs of participants and the labour market.

Personality and team fitness are particularly important to us and we are looking forward to getting to know you in the application process. We would be happy if you already brought some of these hard facts: Qualification in the field of German as a foreign language (DaF/DaZ)

Experience in language teaching with young people or young adults, ideally with escape or migration background

Safe handling of intercultural topics, patience and clear communication

desire to take responsibility and to accompany young people on their way
