Auditors (f/m/d) with a focus on sustainability reporting for balance sheet control in the Securities Supervision division

We are looking for several Accountants (w/m/d) with a focus on sustainability reporting for balance sheet control in the Securities Supervision Division for an unlimited activity in full time or part-time as a speaker at our Frankfurt am Main office. The Securities Supervision division aims to ensure the transparency and integrity of the financial market and investor protection. Based on the increasing tasks of the BaFin in the field of balance sheet control, the specialist team is looking for more experienced colleagues.

check annual and consolidated financial statements on the organised market of listed companies and cover possible accounting violations analyse and assess information from the population about possible accounting violations of these companies, in particular in their sustainability reporting, and, where appropriate, take appropriate steps develop Continue the Enforcement of Sustainability Reports and introduce your results within the BaFin or within other national and international institutions

You have a university degree (Bachelor / FH Diploma or Master / University Diploma) of economics completed at least with the “satisfactory” grade, ideally with the focus on auditing, accounting & finance or accounting / The auditor exams have successfully passed You have several years of professional experience in the audit of financial and ideally non-financial information or advice on sustainability reporting / ESG You have very good knowledge of IFRS, CSRD and ESRS Ideally, you also have a certification in the area of sustainability reporting (e.g. the IDW, the CFA Institute) You are aware of the importance of your function – reflect your decisions and are therefore strong in your opinion You convince colleagues and externals on the basis of your appraisal handling and your clear approach to the matter They can express themselves very well in writing and orally, i.e. convey or represent ideas and views in a manner that is appropriate to the address. You have the digital skills to understand and classify new developments in a digital environment They are open to work in projects or project structures and ideally have experiences in workshop and moderation techniques, agile working methods or even in project management They have very good knowledge of English; that allows you to act safely at international level We presume you are ready to do business trips.
