Modern registers are the foundation of efficient Administrative services for citizens and businesses. Together with you we would like the legal order of the Federal Statistical Office to establish the basic register for enterprises, linked to the introduction a uniform economic number. This will create important basis for the digitisation of the administration and implementation of the Once-Only principles. Become part of the team now to build the to form base registers. Unit I16 supports the IT-Digitalization Strategy of the Federal Statistical Office by the Development high quality software based on the latest technologies and innovative methods.

Take over these tasks

• You bring your expertise in the design and development of the necessary software components.
• As a developer/in in a Scrum team, you work in the complete Development process with, from refinement to documentation.
• You also take over the implementation of Quality assurance measures.
• Furthermore, you support us in designing and implementing a efficient release management processes.

Application requirements

• Completed scientific higher education (Master / Diplom-Uni. / Magister) of a study in the STEM area (Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural science and technology)

In addition,

• good knowledge of common methods and tools of object-oriented Software design (e.g. UML),
• knowledge and experience in the realization of software systems with Java, Spring and JavaScript, in the design web-based surfaces and in the Use of adequate development tools (e.g. IntelliJ, Git, Maven)
• first knowledge of the relevant middleware and Persistency systems (e.g. Tomcat, MySQL),
• good knowledge of relevant quality assurance strategies and experiences in handling the corresponding tools,
• knowledge and practical experience in IT project management, preferably agile methods (e.g. Scrum),
• work-related knowledge and qualifications Information security or the willingness to acquire them
