Project Manager for Power Electronics in Space (m/f/d)

With your experience in space projects and your structured working style, you contribute to successfully implementing innovative power electronics solutions. In this position, you take over the holistic management of your projects and ensure that technical requirements, economic objectives and timetables are met. Your central tasks include: Generally responsible management of customer and internal development projects in the field of power electronics for space applications – from development to qualification to series production using established project management standards (e.g. PMI / PMBOK)

Ensuring project objectives with regard to scheduling, performance, budget and quality requirements

Introduction and supervision of defined quality standards including structured project documentation for transparent progress control

Coordination and monitoring of external partners and subcontractors in cooperation with purchasing

Planning and coordination of personnel and technical resources required in the project

Creation and maintenance of project documentation as well as regular reporting to management including derivation of improvement potentials (“Lessons Learned”)

Processing of project changes and coordination of complaint and deviation processes

Close coordination with management and sales, in particular to support new business opportunities and supply processes

Complete study in the field of electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable technical field (Bachelor or Master)

Funded knowledge of common project management methods as well as several years of experience in conducting technical projects, preferably in the context of the space or high-tech industry

Excellent customer orientation as well as very good communication and team skills

Structured, reliable and on-time working with a high degree of organizational and process understanding

Analytical thinking, solution orientation as well as the ability to introduce new ideas and take responsibility

Decision strength and a high degree of self-initiative

Very good English knowledge for international cooperation and solid German knowledge for internal communication
