Global Transport Manager (m/w/d) for Shipping

• Creation and implementation of transport aids (global/national) and benchmark studies in freight and transport

• Analysis and selection of suitable forwarding and transport service providers

• Self-led negotiation with forwarding and transport service providers with regard to price, conditions and scope of services

• Completion and implementation of complex contractual operations in a defined financial framework including budget responsibility

• Responsibility for supplier management, supplier reviews and risk management as well as organisation and implementation of supplier audits

• Technical responsibility and preparation of specifications for all R&S dispatchers with regard to transport logistics as well as management of projects in the corresponding task environment

• Coordination and systematic problem solutions in process deviations (escalations in special requirements, transport damage, false deliveries etc.)

• Completed training as a forwarding businessman and completed economic studies or comparable

• Multiannual professional experience in freight and transport and export

• Multiannual experience in project and supply chain management

• Good SAP and Office skills

• Experience in the application of contract law and strong negotiation skills

• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, another foreign language is advantageous

• Intercultural Strengths in American and Asian Spaces

• Strong communication and enforcement capability

• Secure appearance in an interface function in the international environment
