System Engineer Network / Core / SDN Cloud Managed Service (m/f/d)

You configure various network components (core routers, switches, firewalls) both physically and software-defined (OpenStack / SDN / SDDC). You connect our hybrid cloud services (private and public) with each other via classic paths, such as VPN and MPLS, as well as modern approaches such as SD-WAN. You operate the infrastructure in our hybrid cloud environment and develop it consistently. You implement and advise on simple to complex network architectures of our managed service customers in the field of hybrid cloud (private and public). You conduct network analyses and performance tests to our services. You work structured according to ITIL in incident, change and problem management.

Experience in the configuration and design as well as the operation of physical network components as well as the respective SDN components (OpenStack) Technical skills in parts of the following topics are desirable: Core Router e.g. Cisco ISR / ASR or Juniper MX, protocol experience (BGP, OSPF, VRF etc.) Firewall and VPN management e.g. with Fortinet, Check Point or Juniper Spine-leaf switch topologies via PPEN and VXLAN or with SDN overlay solutions

Great interest in technical innovations and further development A pronounced service orientation while constantly looking beyond your own plate edge Joy in working in the team and discussions with colleagues at eye level Good communication skills with German skills at level C1 (or better) and English skills at level B2 (or better)
