The project includes, in particular, the development and investigation of a novel allogenic stem cell transplant xenograft model that enables the functional investigation of the immune interactions between donor and recipient, as well as their effects on the plasticity of immune and leukemia cells. This includes the reinforcement of the Graft-versus-Leukemia effect (GvL) by a novel approach that uses a T-cell-Engager. Integral component is also research into whether mesenchymal current cells (MSC) can be used as cell therapy for the simultaneously occurring Graft-versus-Host reaction (GvHD). The plasticity of the cells is to be investigated by flow cytometry and single cell RNA profiling. .
