Your tasks:

You perform tasks of configuration management (KM) and Change management according to process and project specifications in Special shipbuilding projects, in particular in the areas

• identification (configuration determination),
• change control (change management),
• configuration auditing (audit and backup) and
• Configuration booking (tracking).

These include:

• Definition and monitoring of the configuration structure (with Considering the interfaces)

• Defining and managing project-specific Configuration units (KE)

• Identification of document types or documents Description of KE

• Base - (report) at defined times (e.g. Construction stand detection)

• Creation or consolidation of project-specific Configuration reports

• Management of amendments

• take-up, coordination, follow-up and formal examination of Amendments (Change Requests)/ Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) from the project

• Transfer of amendments (Change Requests) to the Decision Panel / Change Control Board (CCB)

• Adoption / deletion of approved / unauthorized Amendments / ECPs

• Organisation and documentation of the decision (guides/recreation) a change register)

• Implementation of the Decision Panel / Change Control Board

• Follow-up of the change order

• Escalation of overdue processes to project management

• Documentation in Baselines

Other responsibilities include:

• Verification of actual and desired configuration
• Ensuring the topicality and consistency of KM-relevant data
• setup and monitoring of the KM interfaces, including the Subcontractors, customers and construction equipment(s)
• Scheduled collection and verification of KM documentation
• Working in performing configuration audits (functional & physically)

Your profile:

• A successfully completed study of Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics

• You already have practical experience Configuration management.

• You have well-founded knowledge of common configuration methods and tools. You control the MS Office package securely and have good knowledge in SAP, Siemens Teamcenter and IBM JAZZ.- you are convinced by pro-active, professional and cooperative appearance

• You have the pleasure of teamwork and have very good Communication skills in German and English

Also desirable are:

• Knowledge of relevant DIN standards in configuration management (e.g. DIN EN ISO 10007)
• Experience in handling quality assurance processes (AQP)
• Confidence with military standards and requirements (e.g. MIL-STD, VG standards etc.)
