Project Manager IT Projects Sales

For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, we are looking for you as a project manager:in IT projects sales at the Berlin site in an indefinite job. You are part of a motivated, diverse team and work cross-functionally with colleagues from neighbouring departments and departments on the advancement of the success story of Warm Berlin.

The focus of your activity is on the design, implementation and further development of IT systems and applications, in order to actively promote digitalization in the company and to shape the efficient implementation of the heat transfer.

Your new position requires a high degree of initiative, solution orientation, organizational talent, strategic thinking and the ability to plan and implement complex projects. We use our own IT systems and SaaS solutions for the implementation of the Berlin Heat Exchange. You are part of the further development of this application and system landscape as needed of efficient business processes and represents the area and its requirements for internal and external business and IT service providers as well as advisory staff functions (e.g. IT security, data protection). Your tasks You are responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of various IT projects in the sales environment. You take over the planning and control of the project budget, objectives and resources. You translate technical requirements into applicable technical and conceptual requirements for IT. You will be working closely with internal IT units, external service providers and relevant stakeholders from sales and inventory customer management. You are responsible for preparing and supporting procurement processes for software up to implementation. You tax internal and external service providers. You ensure compliance with IT systems and IT operating processes with legal and process requirements. You take care of the inclusion of user requirements (requirement management). You coordinate communication and cooperation between different teams and departments. You control and moderate project bodies, workshops and votes. You ensure a sustainable implementation including change and stakeholder management. You are responsible for preparing decision documents for management and management bodies.

Your profile Successful degree in Business Informatics, Sciences, Engineering, preferably with IT focus or equivalent qualification Enthusiasm and “Drive” to actively promote digitization and energy transition Proven experience in (IT)project management (classical and agile) Project management certification e.g. IPMA, SCRUM desirable Understanding business processes and their mapping in IT systems Basic understanding of the energy industry, e.g. energy generation and distribution desirable Proven experience in the project environment for the further development of IT systems and applications as well as in request management Experience in the role as a link between specialist and IT (“Business Lead”, “Product Owner”-related role or Business Project Manager) High social competence, in particular very good communication and team skills as well as self-employment, self-initiative, resilience and enforcement Structured and solution-oriented working with a high sense of responsibility and readiness Embossed moderation and presentation skills knowledge of German and English You meet about 70 percent of the requirements?
