Battermann & Tillery Global Marine GmbH is a special service provider within the Battermann & Tillery Group founded in 1913. While Battermann & Tillery GmbH and its subsidiaries mainly carry out inspections of transport and goods damage at 21 locations in Germany, Switzerland and Turkey, Battermann & Tillery Global Marine GmbH deals with the worldwide coordination of damage visits by contractors and with nautical visits.

From now on, we are looking for our headquarters in Bremen to strengthen our team in the interior service Engineer/Economic Engineer (m/w/d) for the coordination and processing of international transport and machine damage in full time.

As an expert in the coordination and processing of worldwide transport or machine damage, you will find a wide-ranging and interesting area of responsibility with a wide range of possibilities for your own initiative and a high level of responsibility in a team.

Registration of damage, document verification Worldwide commissioning of experts, compensation coordination and claims handling Technical/technical assistance of experts on site, giving instructions on how to proceed Communication with clients and other stakeholders Delivering recommendations to stakeholders on measures and further action after a loss Compilation of Qualified Reports in German

A completed study (engineering, industrial engineering/engineering, logistics/transporting, nautics, shipping and chartering etc.) or a university degree as a Dipl.-Ing., Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing., B.Eng. or M.Eng. Professional experience in logistics/transporting Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least C1) Good English knowledge of word and writing Good communication skills and strong service Team skills and initiative We are happy to give motivational career starters (m/w/d) a chance
