Supporting our system environment is your main task: design and operation of firewall systems (central and customer side) as well as VPN gateways. You generally support the development and operation of central and decentralized network components and general network infrastructure. You conceptualize standardized rules and security requirements for customers and are responsible for their development and care. You have the responsibility for implementing security policies, compliance and risk assessments. You take over the technical control of internal and external service providers and suppliers. You support customers: inside and outside departments in security questions. You are responsible for troubleshooting and diagnostics as well as the further development and implementation of the security infrastructure. You actively support our path to more automation – using Infrastructure as Code.

You are a specialist (m/w/d) or you have an appropriate degree in IT. You have solid experience with enterprise firewalls as well as the design, maintenance and optimization of firewall rules. You have good knowledge of network protocols ( routing, network segmentation and IP addressing) and VPN (IPsec, SSL and Remote Access). You already have experience in securing network architectures. You have the pleasure of trying out new technologies, in cooperation with the colleagues to conceive and take over in the company. You create and independently provide technical documentation and thus ensure a comprehensible state of our network, central systems and processes. You have a dedicated and responsible way of working in the team and service orientation.
