1st Level Support Staff - Microsoft 365 / Virtualization / Firewalls (m/f/d)

What do we do? Easy!

We have been specializing in two IT areas for more than 30 years.

As an IT system house we deal with the increasingly complex requirements of the hardware and software market. We support our customers in the fields of IT service, IT security and IT infrastructure.

With our self-developed ERP system ALPHAPLAN, we are established as software manufacturers on the market. ALPHAPLAN consists of a merchandise industry, accounting, a CRM and a web shop and has been awarded several times as an “ERP system of the year”.

As the first contact point in the 1st level support, you accept customer requests by phone, email and monitoring, analyze technical problems and document your solutions in the ERP software ALPHAPLAN. You administrate and support our customers' IT systems, especially Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS) and Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online and Teams. You monitor the network infrastructure, configure NextGen Firewalls (Fortinet) and take care of email security to ensure smooth and secure operation. You work with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware, and in complex cases you agree closely with the 2nd level support and our IT consultants to develop sustainable solutions.

You have a training in the IT field (e.g. as a specialist informant:in for system integration) or bring comparable practical experience. You can safely move in the Microsoft world, especially with Windows Server (AD, DNS) and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams). You bring first experiences with virtualization (e.g. Hyper-V) and a good basic understanding for network and security topics (e.g. firewalls, VLANs). It is fun to analyze and solve technical challenges in direct customer contact – on the phone as well as remotely. You communicate clearly and understandably in German (at least C1 level), both with customers and in the team.
