As a supplement to the long-term local labour market policy in offerings of education and training for disadvantaged people, the workshop as an institution of youth assistance according to § 45 SGB VIII offers diverse offers of stationary and outpatient care.

For our motivated and intercultural team at the Unna site, we are now looking for a job as a pedagogical specialist (m/w/d) in full or part-time (from 19.25 h/week) for stationary youth assistance!

As a child and youth assistance service provider, we exclusively employ professionals in accordance with the requirements of the North Rhine-Westphalia Jugendamte. We therefore presuppose the completion of an educational course or a corresponding study with state recognition.

Description of tasks:

• Social education support / reference support, assistance and support planning for children and young people
• organisation and management of the control and/or residential group; Project and group work
• Cooperation with other specialist services
• Interchangeable service, incl. night readiness

Requirements:

• Experience in the area of youth housing / youth assistance

• Team and communication skills, life practice skills, organizational skills
• extended police leadership certificate and willingness to self-determination
• Compliance with the Children's and Youth Protection Concept of the WiKU by Declaration of Obligation and Code of Conduct
• Class B driving licence
