Engineer for Subject Area 52 – Water Management (m/f/d)

For our property 52 – Water management, we are looking for one or more Engineer (m/w/d) for the location in Munich You accompany significant water management projects in Upper Bavaria with the focus on technical quality, economics and sustainable water management. As part of the supervision of the water management authorities, you evaluate complex measures and contribute to the central technical and strategic tasks of the water management. This will make you an important contribution to flood protection, safeguarding water resources and protecting the environment.

Examination of challenging water construction projects with importance for flood protection, water development and sustainable water management Advising the water management offices in technical, technical and financial matters Participation in financing, funding and financial control in state water engineering Create technical contributions for planning, programs and water management concepts Editing enquiries and creating opinions on water policy issues Maintaining the supervision of water management offices Developing efficient control and controlling processes within the water management offices

Completed university studies (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) in the field of civil engineering, water management, environmental engineering or a comparable field of water management (m/w/d) with comparable technical knowledge and practical experience in the described task In addition, we wish: Multiannual practical work experience in water construction, preferably at a water management office Joy in handling water construction projects Safe handling of popular MS Office programs as well as curiosity and willingness to work into individual user programs (e.g. VAWas, E-Akte) Anticipation in decision-making with careful and independent and self-responsibility Good expressability in word and writing, team skills and negotiation skills Ability to cooperate in networks with various actors in the region, joy in dealing with people and consulting activities Ready to use and enforceability
