We are currently hiring for the following temporary position in the Innovation department at Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH, Neckartenzlingen location, effective immediately: Masterthesis with the ''Measuring the Impact of AI-Assisted Software Development in an Industrial Engineering Environment' (m/w/d)

Analyze available data sources for measuring the usage of AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., activity logs, usage metrics, prompt data, and other relevant sources) Define meaningful KPIs to measure adoption, engagement, productivity support, and potential quality-related effects Design and implement a prototype dashboard or automated reporting solution to visualize and communicate key insights Evaluate technical approaches for automated data collection, processing, and integration across multiple data sources Assess the strengths and limitations of different approaches measurement and the recommendations for sustainable reporting and governance Document findings and present the results

Student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field Strong interest in software development and artificial intelligence Basic knowledge of analytic datas, data visualization, or dashboard development Analytical and structured way of working, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, German language skills are a plus but not required
