Höhe as a modern service provider is located on the edge of the Taunus. As a spa town with about 55,000 inhabitants, it is distinguished as a health resort and congress city as well as a wide range of cultural, sports and leisure activities, a lot of green and short paths. Around 1,000 people work in the local administration, as a special status city, a variety of tasks have to be handled. Digitization and cross-departmental, networked work are important to us.

In your role as a product division management IT service, you are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the IT service area within our local administration. Their primary goal is to efficiently and safely control IT services, so that they meet the requirements of the administration and are continuously improved. They ensure that all IT processes run smoothly, minimize risks and ensure service quality to achieve the goals of the digitalization and IT strategy. Technical and disciplined management of the IT team Promoting employee motivation and development through feedback talks and training Developing and implementing IT service strategies in coordination with management leaders Planning and allocation of human and material resources Ensuring compliance with SLAs and continuous process optimization Management of cooperation between departments, IT and external service providers Head of the Change Advisory Board and ensure smooth implementation of changes Monitoring the quality of IT services and performing corrective actions in incidents Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders Coordination of communication in crisis situations

Condition: A completed study of computer science, business informatics, business administration with a focus on computer science or a study of a comparable subject is required for the occupation of the body. Multiannual professional experience in IT, ideally in the public sector, in senior position as well as expertise in IT management and leadership of teams are expected. Alternatively, you are also interesting to us if you have a training as a specialist informatics and multiannual professional experience in the IT industry as well as leadership experience or an IT related training and have collected several years of professional experience in an IT department of the public service. Training in leadership and team development is desirable Qualifications in ITIL, project management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, GPM) and/or in specific IT security standards (e.g. ISO 27001) are advantageous You should have excellent communication and conflict skills and have a strong ability to process analysis and optimization We expect good ways of handling as well as a high degree of willingness to cooperate, negotiation skills, enforcement capacity and team capacity.
