Calculation Engineer (m/f/d)

Static and dynamic FE calculations with SIMULIA/ABAQUS to assess component durability and life span in the field of weapon and ammunition Thermal calculations of components in interaction with flow and radiation Short-term dynamic calculations with LS-DYNA to assess the endballistic performance of ammunition and warheads on an HPC cluster Further development of calculation methods Documentation of work in presentations and reports Presentation of results before internal and external customers (m/w/d)

Successfully completed mechanical engineering studies focusing on technical mechanics, computational engineering, aerospace technology or a similar qualification Experience with FE calculations Good knowledge of technical mechanics, especially about strength and durability and in mathematics Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Analytical thinking and a high level of learning Joy in solving numerical problems
