Senior Buyer (m/f/d)

As one of the leading European producers of chocolates for the confectionery industry, we are looking for an experienced shopping personality that is responsible for international product groups, keeps in mind raw materials markets and contributes to the stability and competitiveness of our procurement through sound decisions.

Operational and strategic purchasing of raw materials and packaging materials Independent care and control of international product groups Active observation of relevant commodity markets (e.g. cocoa, sugar, dairy products) Analysis of price developments, market trends and risks Implementation of price and contract negotiations with international suppliers Completion and management of contracts and delivery agreements Ensuring material availability taking into account cost and quality objectives Building and further development of long-term supplier partnerships Identification and implementation of optimization and saving potentials along the supply chain Close cooperation with production, sales and controlling

Complete studies in the field of business management, economic engineering, agriculture, food technology or comparable First leadership experience is a plus, but no requirement Multiannual experience (3-5 years) in the food industry Good knowledge of contract management and supplier management Impressed negotiating skills and analytical thinking skills Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation Teamability and Communication Strength English language skills
