The GBE is a subsidiary of the city of Pforzheim. Our task is the qualification, accompaniment, employment and mediation of people with support needs. For this we implement offers for young people and adults within the framework of various programmes.

Our strengths lie in the professional (re-) integration of people with a number of barriers to placement, remote from the labour market. We use a complex system of case management, assistance with (psycho-)social difficulties, competence determination (profiling), employment and (vocational) qualification.

For the implementation of our project “WIN.Pf” within the framework of the European Social Fund (ESF), we are looking for one/one at the fastest possible time

Social pedagogue, pedagogue, social worker (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) for advice and support of unemployed adults with a weekly working time up to 39 hours.

They coach, advise and support unemployed adults with a focus on vocational training and further training. The aim is clear: a lasting professional integration. They develop individual resources, strengthen competences and build barriers. You are responsible for support in application activities, you perform application trainings and acquire internships. In addition, you will work with the participants' activation and integration plans and support implementation. They work with the participants, the contact persons at the job center, local companies and network partners and document attendance, consultation and activation plans.

Recognised professional or academic degree in the educational or psychological field (at least bachelor's degree Social Work, (social) pedagogy, psychology, education) Insufficient professional experience in working with people with a job market Experience in the participant-oriented discussion, support and advice of disadvantaged people Good knowledge of the regional labour market and recruitment processes in companies Very good written expressability and safe handling of MS Office applications Loadability, flexibility and the ability to act independently High sensitivity to social problems
