About 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are manufactured using ZEISS technologies. ZEISS is a technology leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. As a member of the local leadership team, you will play a central role in the management and strategic orientation of your team and the location as a group leader in development and consulting at the development site of Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH in Aachen.

They are responsible for the management and development of a team of experienced project managers, architects and project engineers, while also actively promoting their networking within the organization

Their tasks include the strategic development of the site in close coordination with the location management and their support and representation

They drive forward independently themes and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed and involved

also represent the department and location management at workshops and other meetings to promote the interests and objectives of the location and department

many years of experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in a leadership position and with the focus on optical high-end lithography

many years of experience in (lateral) leadership of project teams and run from large and complex development projects including budget responsibility

completed studies in engineering or natural sciences, ideally with doctorate

excellent knowledge of the ZEISS SMT product portfolio, in particular in the field of EUV and DUV

IPMA certification level C or level B desirable leadership skills

Ability to motivate employees and to identify and promote their potential

strong problem solving capabilities and analytical thinking o experience in internal and external negotiation situations, as well as high enforcement capability

active networking of the department and staff in the organization
