The Gaggenau plant with plant part Rastatt manufactures gearboxes and axles for the Daimler Truck. The material and process technology (WPT) assumes a decisive function. Materials and special processes - whether internally or with suppliers - is the core business of materials and process technology (WPT). These include support for special processes in their own production, development support, prototype and damage analysis as well as supplier support. THE WORK Support for internal production tests and prototype tests Organisation and implementation of material investigations Material testing (destructive or non-destructive) / Metallography Processing of complaint and audit reports Own implementation of subprojects Documentation and evaluation of results Compilation at internal WPT events Digitization and archiving of documents Literature research
