The Stuttgart networks ensure that electricity and gas arrive reliably at people around the clock in Stuttgart. As a distribution system operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and modernization of the 5,600 kilometres long power grid and the 2,100 kilometres long gas network of the state capital. In addition to security of supply, we are investing in the further development of the networks to meet the increasing demands of the energy transition and to create a sustainable energy infrastructure in Stuttgart. In addition, we serve 74,000 street lights for the city of Stuttgart. As a subsidiary of the Stadtwerke Stuttgart, we support the state capital Stuttgart on the way to climate neutrality by 2035 with around 600 employees.

The 'network management' cluster acts as a strategic and conceptual centre of the grid operator. It sets out the long-term strategies for the expansion and renewal of the electricity grid in order to ensure a secure supply of the state capital Stuttgart in the future. As part of the data governance, the cluster sets company-wide standards for the collection and processing of technical data and ensures compliance. You take over the strategic and operational management of several teams within the network management cluster You control resources, dates and budgets across your cluster and ensure effective cooperation You are central: contact person:in for internal and external interfaces You recognize risks early and develop appropriate measures and process optimization They promote the professional and personal development of your team leaders and ensure a positive leadership culture They establish transparent reporting and communication structures Takeover of tasks and responsibilities as technical leadership
