IT Systems Engineer

An exciting working environment with a lot of design space and development potential awaits you as IT system engineer*in (limited for 5 years) As part of the IT Operations & Service Management – Production Services team, you take responsibility from the outset for our central production and editorial systems of radio and television. You are driving the technical development forward, keeping our systems safe and stable and implementing new requirements reliably. With your proactive look, you can recognize risks early and make sure that our production environment remains performant and available at any time.

You are responsible for the smooth operation of our production and editorial system for radio You take responsibility for the integration and management of various IT services, on-premises and in the cloud As part of the digital transformation, you analyse new requirements with the focus on automation and optimization and advise internal process partners on this, focusing on the use of modern cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. You act as a provider manager*in and are the interface between IT Service providers and the clients in hr to provide different SaaS services or to optimize existing services As part of an ARD project, you are working on the conceptual further development of our editorial and production systems, thereby bringing your IT expertise You participate in a quarterly 24/7 readiness to coordinate IT expert teams for troubleshooting

Completed informatics studies or IT training with multi-year relevant professional experience Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers and Clients administration Very good knowledge of the script language PowerShell Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration Good knowledge in the integration of interfaces (REST APIs) Knowledge of Cloud Architectures, Ideally Microsoft Azure Experience in project management and ideally in IT consulting Very good German knowledge In addition, you have an open, friendly and communicative personality.
