What we plan together:

IT-Commercial Management unites all commercial processes and plays a central role in our company, in particular in IT-Procurement. In your role as IT Sourcing Manager, you will contribute significantly to the further development of our IT procurement. You will help shape the strategies and processes that deposit on the digitization and internationalization of REWE Group. We are on the rise in technology and are increasingly moving into the cloud world.

Tasks that keep you posted:

Take responsibility: You play a central role in sourcing initiatives for IT infrastructure. This includes the procurement of technologies such as servers, mainframes, backup systems as well as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions. You work with a range of manufacturers and hyperscalers and are responsible for an annual purchase volume of several million euros. Strategically work: You develop and implement purchasing strategies that are coordinated with the product vendor, architects and the various business areas of REWE Group. In doing so, you will ensure that our purchasing decisions meet the operational and strategic objectives of REWE Group. Promote cooperation: You cooperate closely with internal specialists in licensing management, data protection, information security and law in order to create and secure contracts with optimal conditions. Promote optimization: You identify and implement continuous improvements in the purchasing processes, ensure that the standards and guidelines are complied with, and contribute to optimizing the supplier portfolio and cost efficiency. Internal consulting tasks: You are a central contact for the business units and support them to analyze requirements and identify solutions that efficiently and effectively meet technological needs.

A completed economic studies or a commercial vocational training with a multi-year professional experience is the basis of your success. You are a passionate buyer and bring at least 5 years of experience in purchasing IT infrastructure and XaaS. A well-founded understanding of the global IT infrastructure and hyperscaler market as well as good contractual knowledge for purchase, rental, maintenance and outsourcing contracts are part of your profile. You have already successfully demonstrated your negotiating skills with major, internationally focused IT suppliers. Very good knowledge of ERP, contract management and eSourcing systems are necessary and complete your profile.
