As an electrical engineering standard engineer, you develop safety concepts and provide control engineering implementations. You lead a team of security technicians and software developers of the security software. You also work closely with the mechanical designers. You evaluate the content of standards and regulations and develop concepts for their implementation to machines. You develop safety documents as a guide for design and create specifications for machine removal. You evaluate the security functions and analyze the control dependencies in schematics. With their team, you take the security measures and validate the security functions. Cooperation in the German standardization body DIN.

Complete study of electrical engineering with focus on automation, or comparable training in the field of electrical engineering Multiannual professional experience in the design of safety circuits Experience in technology for safety applications knowledge in the mechanical field to be able to evaluate safety engineering constructions Knowledge and experience in dealing with standards and guidelines Experience with SISTEMA and SAFEXPERT would be ideal Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
