What does our department “ESG Stakeholder Management” do? We shape the dialogue with our relevant stakeholders and observe current developments in sustainability and ESG in order to identify and tackle opportunities and challenges for the company at an early stage. What does that mean? These exciting and diverse tasks await you: As part of your internship, you will be focusing on the content and organisational implementation of our flagship event, the Mercedes-Benz Sustainability Dialogue

You support our external global sustainability initiatives (e.g. UN Global Compact) and the Advisory Board for Integrity and Sustainability

You analyze national and international sustainability developments and support specific action recommendations

You support the further development of our stakeholder engagement, including the identification of relevant stakeholders and the design and implementation of dialogue measures

You help us prepare management and measures of Mercedes-Benz Group AG for external stakeholders in line with target groups – e.g. B. for ESG rankings and reporting

The Integrity & Legal / Compliance Programs & Sustainability (IL/CP) division is responsible for central topics relating to sustainability and compliance at Mercedes‐Benz. Our goal is to effectively anchor integrity, regulatory requirements and sustainable action in the company – both strategically and operationally. IL/CP deals with: further development of the sustainable business strategy Compliance and regulatory requirements at national and international level ESG ratings and materiality analyses and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, bodies and specialist areas on sustainability As an intern*in, you will become part of an interdisciplinary team and get to know the work of a central group area close by. You support ongoing projects, work on current issues and gain insights into processes and decision-making processes of an internationally active company. You connect your theoretical knowledge from your studies directly with the practice, take responsibility and gain valuable experience in an internationally active company. At the same time, you have the opportunity to introduce your own ideas and develop yourself professionally and personally. Design sustainable and responsible solutions for Mercedes‐Benz together with us. Period: September 2026 to February 2027 Hybrid work is possible as part of the internship.

Degree in Economics, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Sustainability Management, Communication Sciences, Journalistics, Political Sciences, Law or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Very good knowledge of common office programs - especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

Communication and team skills

Own initiative, independent work and willingness to take responsibility

Joy in bringing things forward and taking responsibility for own subprojects

Impressed motivation to actively participate in topics with social relevance

Experience in event management desirable

Interest and knowledge of Corporate Responsibility/Sustainability
