Global Procurement Trucks & Buses is responsible for the procurement of all parts and components for the production of our commercial vehicles. Our task is to design the interaction between the suppliers and Daimler Truck from the development of a new product through series production to spare parts delivery.

In the Global Transmission Team, we carry the overall responsibility for the truck drive volumes and are specialized in the procurement and support of all transmission components – for example, transmission controllers, retarders and clutches. You are in regular exchange with our shopping locations in Germany, India, Brazil and the USA.

Cooperation in project management of global new product projects and cooperation with international purchasing organisations Participation in the overall purchasing process - from the definition of the enquiry circle to the analysis and comparison of offers to the award decision Coordination of commercial and technical issues with internal partners and external suppliers Preparation, cooperation and participation in supplier negotiations and visit of project meetings within the framework of cost-saving programmes and process optimization Self-supporting change management through internal, cross-departmental cooperation with development and series management as well as external coordination with suppliers

THE BRINGS Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Vehicle Technology or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Good opinion
