The University of Applied Sciences Esslingen has the size of a medium-sized company with 230 professors, around 400 employees and 465 teachers. We are constantly looking for qualified staff for teaching, research and administration. The Esslingen University of Applied Sciences is looking for Infrastructure building management for the Facility Management at Campus Stadtmitte. The Facility Management department creates the structural/technical and operational requirements for the success of an innovative university. With its functioning building operation, it supports 6,000 students and 1,000 staff in teaching and research at the Esslingen University. Special challenges are the new construction of the Weststadt site and the construction and technical development of the sites. In order to be able to work on this, a smooth operation of the building and a functioning infrastructure in the buildings are required. Head of Infrastructure Building Management (IGM): You will be responsible for a dynamic team of about 10 dedicated professionals. Together you will set the course for efficient and high-quality management of our building infrastructure. Strategic planning and implementation of moves: As part of our exciting new building project in the Weststadt, you will be leading the planning and implementation of moves that lead our university to an innovative future. Quality assurance and service monitoring: You will be responsible for compliance with all service contracts and our standards for e.g. cleanliness and safety are always fulfilled by actively monitoring and optimizing the cleaning services and the guard service. Rental contract management: You will take over the management of our rental contracts and ensure the best conditions for the use of our premises. Design of our diverse events: You will take over the organization and implementation of a variety of events that enrich cultural life and exchange at our university. Car park management

Completed studies / training in facility management, logistics or comparable A multi-year professional experience in building management Experience in employee management Understanding infrastructural processes and knowledge of procurement law Analytical skills and problem solving skills Communication strength, team capacity and organisational skills
