Number: MER0003KJ5 The Mercedes-Benz plant Berlin is the oldest producing plant in the field of conventional engine technology. The transformation of the Berlin site is a symbol of the change in the automotive industry. Electrification and digitization are the core pillars of our corporate strategy. With the expansion of Berlin to the Competence Center for Digitalization and the award of production volumes in the field of e-mobility, we can successfully secure the future of our Berlin traditional location. Within the global production network of Mercedes-Benz AG, Local IT Service & Engineering Berlin (ITO/PN-SE) takes a decisive position. The tasks include planning and consulting as well as the support of IT systems in various departments of the Berlin plant. AI or ML based data analyses of production systems, GenAI Usecases, AR/VR technologies, IT expertise and the production-oriented application of 3D printing are just some of the many activities of the team.
