Conception and implementation of GIS solutions based on CAIGOS and QGIS, ArcGIS

Development of scripts, tools and automation solutions, especially with Python

Particularly important: Databases & Development Funded to very good knowledge in the design, modeling and administration of databases

Experience with geodatabases, such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle

Knowledge in the design of data models and database structures

Secure handling of SQL

Very good knowledge of Python and experience in the automation of GIS processes

Experience with GIS interfaces and data conversion are advantageous

Knowledge of development and Adjustment of QGIS plugins, scripts or GIS tools are desirable

Experience with APIs, web services or other interfaces is beneficial

GIS & Geodata Secure understanding of geodata models, geometries, coordinate systems and geodata structures

Experience in the processing, analysis and quality assurance of geodata

Understanding the relationship between GIS application, data model and database

Ideally knowledge of municipal or infrastructural GIS applications, such as channel, water, line networks or area management

Good communication skills and the ability to understand technical issues
