Network administrator (m/f/d)

You maintain, monitor and manage the network landscape (LAN, WLAN, VPN, WAN and SIP environments) of the entire F.A.Z. group and ensure seamless integration of different systems. For this purpose, plan, configure and maintain network components (switches, routers, firewalls, access points) from Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint and Aruba and support us in the further development of infrastructure and security solutions (On-Premise & Cloud). Within different project teams, you work on the further development and optimization of our network strategies as well as our security measures and ensure their implementation up to daily operation. You provide a structured documentation of the system landscape and understand each other as a technology consultant for the F.A.Z. and for all participations. Rolling on, you take a call readiness service outside your regular working hours, so that our IT systems can be used again in the event of production malfunctions or IT failures.

You bring a completed training in IT (e.g. specialist system integration (m/w/d)) or a comparable qualification and already have professional experience in the support of enterprise environments. In addition to well-founded experience in the field of network administration and IT infrastructure, you have first knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure preferred) and detectable experience with solutions/components of the mentioned, or other comparable manufacturers. You have a structured independent way of working, a high team orientation and the willingness to roll call. In addition, you will be open to new topics, will be happy to continue and have excellent knowledge of German and good English.
