As a system engineer:in / system architect:in for (digital) building management system (BMS) solutions, you are the trusted technical expert in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), who develops innovative solutions through the combination of the latest technologies with our unique EcoStruxure platform.

Your field of work You are a technical consultant:in, system architect:in and developer:in one person: Based on existing or self-created functional descriptions, you develop technically sophisticated, innovative building automation and building management solutions for our customers (investors, end customers, planner/engineering offices). You create and validate the technical design and the right specifications – working closely with our sales team, local product/application specialists, product management and internal departments. You combine the latest technologies with our products to solutions that offer our customers sustainable added value, and always keep an eye on the economic implementation. You are responsible for the development of solutions in the pre-sales phase and the contact person(s):in for our customers to explain the concept. In the execution phase, you are an accompanying expert and pass on your know-how to the project team. You expand your knowledge of BMS topics, such as power, security or electromobility, to be able to advise our customers comprehensively.

Your profile You have completed a degree as an engineer (w/m/d) or a further education as a specialist/master/technical technician (w/m/d) in the field of building system technology, utility technology, MSR technology or building automation / BMS. You bring experience with system architectures in building management and project execution: from the new design to the transition from old systems to the integration of foreign systems. You have very good knowledge about building automation platforms and system software, software programming (script, functional blocks), communication protocols (BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC, Zigbee ...), cloud computing, integration methods (OT to IoT) and cybersecurity methods. You like to work on complex tasks and look at your system architectures in addition to functionality, regulations and standards as well as cost-effectiveness. What else? You are a creative head with fun in problem solutions, a convincing appearance and communication strength (fluential German, very good English) and readiness to travel (about 40%).
