Internship in the optimization of logistics processes Job ID 74831 | Location Garching | from now on or by agreement for the duration of 4-6 months Your tasks The focus of your tasks is on supply chain management, focusing on material flow planning. You support the recording and visualization of value flows and process sequences, in particular the material flows. You are actively involved in the determination of optimization potentials, by using suitable packaging and storage strategies. You take part in independent projects, e.g. in the supply of assembly lines corresponding to a lean material flow. You use Lean methods for recording and designing processes. You directly support the implementation of process optimizations that are mapped systemically in SAP; You will get to know our systems (SAP, our warehouse management systems and a forklift system). In addition, you will get a stand-alone task area (for example, the packaging planning, which is coordinated with the relevant specialist areas and suppliers, or you will carry out the systemically supported tendering process for extraordinary transportation). The further development of the logistics quality of the suppliers as well as the optimization of internal transport processes are also part of your tasks. In addition, you support the implementation of reference projects with the involvement of the participating departments. You will be working closely with the operating areas of purchasing, assembly and logistics. Your profile You are an intangible student in the field of economic engineering, BWL, logistics or comparable. You are looking for a mandatory internship and could ideally gain experience in logistics/supply chain. Good PC knowledge (especially MS Office) and very good German knowledge in word and writing (C-level) we require.
