Our waste treatment and stream management business unit is responsible for, developing, building and operating the BSR plant portfolio. It also acts as a driver for energy efficiency, climate protection and resource conservation. In the waste power plant, we produce waste environmentally friendly and efficient steam. We are planning a steam turbine and extensive modernization projects for the power plant. Furthermore, we project mechanical waste treatment plants to optimize material recovery in order to strengthen the BSR's resource-saving strategy. A bioenergy plant as a future-oriented new conception of a power plant at the Gradestraße site with the clear goal of actively promoting climate-friendly approaches in Berlin and contributing to the climate-friendly generation of district heating for Berlin is currently in focus. For this we are looking for dedicated and team-oriented engineers: in those who have the pleasure of advancing the plant-strategic goals of the BSR. We are a team of engineers: in various areas of expertise that controls these technologically and co-ordinatively highly demanding construction projects. New plant construction projects and modernization of existing plants are the focus of our activities. The team also grows with these pioneering projects. Planning and coordination of projects for the construction and modernization of thermal waste treatment plants – from concept development to commissioning Participation in municipal heat planning, in particular in energy decoupling, district heating connection and power plant conception Control of the entire project sequence taking into account time, cost and quality objectives, including regular project reporting Ensuring compliance with legal, technical and operational requirements in planning and construction Coordination and quality assurance of external planning and expert services and coordination with specialist authorities and experts Representation of the BSR as a builder to internal and external stakeholders as well as, if necessary, to a project team

Graduated Higher Education of Engineering Departments Process, Environmental or Energy Engineering Multiannual proven professional experience in equivalent activity in the fields of process and environmental technology, industrial and energy production plants, plant / power plant construction, thermal processes for waste treatment At least 2 years of experience in project management or in the planning, coordination and execution / implementation of (construction) projects in the fields mentioned Professional experience in leading and guiding teams desirable Ready-to-use DV knowledge in MS-Project and AutoCAD Understanding specialist, technical and legal regulations such as DIN and BetrSichV Knowledge of national and European procurement and contract law, including VOB, VgV, HOAI, building, environmental and planning law driving licence class B desirable
