This makes the job interesting for me: as a technical engineerin retraining plant technology, I take over the technical design and commercial development of complex maintenance and investment projects in the facilities of the regional center of South, taking into account the requirements of the ongoing operation. I work with the other specialist areas of the regional centre, the specialist departments of the central offices and service providers and suppliers and, if necessary, agree with the authorities involved. In our team, I am the professional contact personin, among others, on the topics of high-voltage switching devices, transformers and compensation systems, as well as the self-supply and auxiliary systems required in transformers. The operation, expansion and maintenance of the high-voltage network as well as the associated substations, switching systems and lines are organized from five regional centres, including the regional centre Süd with its locations Erfurt Vieselbach and Bad Lauchstädt.
