We are an innovative private institution of children and youth assistance, founded in 2002, with coordinated outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary aids from a single source. We work with our 180 employees at 14 locations in the district of Schaumburg and Minden-Lübbecke.

Your future workplace: In our Kinderhaus Vehlen in Obernkirchen we offer 14 children and young people divided into 2 groups (ages 6 – 11 years) a “second home” The focus is on reliable relationships and group pedagogical offers in order to offer corrective binding experiences and to enable self-effectiveness in a socially significant group. Through our trauma pedagogical attitude, we also create a safe place where every child receives an individual offer to deal with his personal life issues. We accompany children and adolescents to understand their biography and good reasons of their experience – thus enabling development where complex burdens have made them more difficult. Cooperation with external therapists, youth offices and other professions is as important as the inclusion of parents or other important subjects Everyday and social space orientation also takes a high priority in the accompaniment and development of children and adolescents and also includes support on the topics of school and training In addition to the pedagogical team, the overall system also includes the Hauswirtschaftsteam to provide our children and young people comprehensively. A completed educational course or a corresponding study, e.g. social education/social work, pedagogy/education science, psychology, medical or special education, childhood education (Dipl./B.A./M.A.) or a completed training as an educator:in or Healing nurse:in. If you wish for parttime employment: hours of at least 30 hours per week. Pleasure for multi-professional teamwork and collaboration at eye level. Unlimited employment contract – for over 20 years this has been standard with us. Additional qualification in Traumapädagogik / Traumacentered specialist consulting (duration 1.5 years), certified by the DeGPT and the Fachverband Traumapädagogik, financing by us.
